Located right in the heart of town is the beautiful Warren & District Lions’ Park Complex. Consisting of the Warren Park and Memory Garden, the site offers an opportunity for people of all types and ages to come and enjoy themselves. Whether it be enjoying a sunny afternoon picnic, taking a moment to stop and smell the gorgeous garden flowers, investigating some of the heritage pieces, shooting hoops on the basketball pad, or testing out the latest moves in the skateboard park, the Lions’ Park Complex has something for you!
A Perfect Stop
Completed in 2009 due to the hard work and dedication of the Warren & District Lions’ Club, along with assistance from the Herizons Club, the complex features both covered and outdoor picnic areas, a play structure with swing set, a basketball pad, a skateboard park, walking paths, the Memory Garden, benches, the Soldiers’ Monument, and an outdoor heritage area complete with antique farm equipment. Such a diverse facility offers the perfect stop on a trip through town or a great place for locals to bring the family on a nice spring, summer or fall afternoon.
