The community of Marquette is located 20 minutes west of Winnipeg at the junction of Highways 221 and 248. The close-knit, friendly community is home to a population of approximately 50 and is a safe and secure place for family life. Young, school age children receive their education at nearby Warren Elementary School and Warren Collegiate Institute (approximately 15 minutes away).
Business services include a restaurant-café and a Co-op that offers hardware and farm supplies, fuel and fertilizer sales.
The community takes great pride in their community/recreation facilities including the Marquette Curling Club and Meadow Lea Community Hall that serves the nearby district. The Community Hall is used for community events and programming.
