Promoting Our Community

The Woodlands Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a company incorporated under The Corporations Act of the Province of Manitoba. The primary role of the CDC is to promote the community and achieve objectives set out in the community economic development action plan. A CDC can conduct a wide range of activities to stimulate the local economy, one of which is the administration of the CDC Business Incentive Program.

The R.M. of Woodlands Community Development Corporation’s mission is to provide strategic leadership and support for sustainable economic development. The aim is to retain and employ our youth, enhance community services, amenities and pride, and to facilitate on-going growth in population, business and economic activity to the benefit of current and future residents of the municipality.
