The Local Urban District (LUD) of Warren Committee is a committee of Council consisting of one member of Council and a maximum of three members elected by voters of the local urban district.
The mandate of the LUD Committee is to promote the well-being and interest of the LUD of Warren as a whole. The Committee is committed to ensuring that the services are delivered at a level and in a manner that meets the expectations of the LUD and its citizens.
The Committee prepares an annual service plan, including a budget, and presents it as a recommendation to Council of the Rural Municipality for approval. The service plan may include maintenance of existing services, improvement/expansion of services and other projects.
Regular meetings of the Committee will be held at 6:30 p.m. at 152 MacDonald Avenue in Warren, on the first and third Monday of every month. If the day fixed for the regular meeting of the Committee is a general holiday, the meeting shall be held on the next regularly scheduled Monday, which is not a holiday, at the same time and place. The Committee may by resolution vary the date and time of a regular meeting as circumstances may require.
