Woodlands Museum

If local history is your thing, a visit to the Woodlands Museum this summer may be just what you are looking for.

This mini-pioneer town, located just off of #6 Highway in Woodlands, includes six buildings (a church, two school houses, a pioneer home, an equipment shed and the pioneer town gallery) overflowing with artifacts from the homesteading era.

With literally thousands of heritage pieces on display from hundreds of local donors this is a stop that truly can’t be missed!  You might even find something that once belonged to an ancestor of yours!
